Biofloc System Tilapia

COMING SOON FISH FARMING

A new fish-farming line at Cirebon Smart Farm. Tilapia are raised in round tarpaulin ponds with a biofloc system: bacteria in the water turn waste into natural feed, so the pond can be stocked densely without routine water changes.

First Harvest Waiting List

The ponds are still being prepared, so the fish cannot be shipped yet. Join the waiting list and we will contact you first when the first harvest is ready. The price is estimated at Rp 25,000 to Rp 35,000 per kilogram, a provisional figure that will be fixed once production is running.

What We Are Preparing:

  • Stocking density of 100-150 fish per cubic meter
  • 24-hour aeration with backup power
  • Water parameters recorded every morning and afternoon
  • Tarpaulin ponds, not earthen ponds, so no off-flavor
  • Pond waste water goes to the vegetable beds as aquaponics

Hydroponic Vegetable Prices and How We Work Them Out

Open, so you can compare before you order

Hydroponic vegetables almost always cost more than ordinary market vegetables, and that is reasonable. What often confuses buyers is the unit. Markets sell lettuce by the bunch, supermarkets sell it by the pack, while farms sell it by the kilogram. Three different numbers for the same thing.

Price ranges at Cirebon Smart Farm. The per-bunch figures are worked out from the usual weight of one bunch of hydroponic lettuce, 200 to 250 grams. Market prices move with the season and with supply, so contact us for the price that applies when you order.
Products Price per kg Other selling units Availability
Hydroponic lettuce Rp 25,000 - Rp 40,000 Rp 5,000 - Rp 10,000 per bunch (200 - 250 g) Daily harvest
Premium Hami melon Rp 45,000 - Rp 65,000 Rp 68,000 - Rp 163,000 per fruit (1.5 - 2.5 kg) Seasonal, follows planting schedule
Biofloc tilapia Rp 25,000 - Rp 35,000 (estimate) Sold per kg live Not available yet, waiting list open

Why It Costs More than Ordinary Vegetables

Conventional lettuce in traditional markets usually sits between Rp 10,000 and Rp 20,000 per kilogram. The gap is not the hydroponic label, it is the cost actually spent. The greenhouse, the pumps, and the electricity run every day. Nutrients are dosed and measured, not scattered. Harvest happens close to delivery time, not stacked up for days.

What you get in return is clean leaves that need no repeated washing, no pesticide residue because there is no soil and no soil pests, longer shelf life in the fridge, and a higher net weight because no soil is weighed along with it. For restaurants, shelf life is usually what shows up most, because spoilage losses drop quite a lot.

Regular and Bulk Orders

Restaurants, caterers, and vegetable shops that order regularly get a different price from retail, because we can plan the harvest schedule earlier. Send us your estimated weekly needs through the contact page, and we will reply with a quote and the delivery schedule.

Questions About Prices and Ordering

What new buyers ask most often

How much is hydroponic lettuce per kg?

At our farm, hydroponic lettuce sits between Rp 25,000 and Rp 40,000 per kilogram, depending on the type of lettuce and the order quantity. Romaine and red lettuce are usually at the top of the range, while green curly lettuce is at the bottom.

Supermarket prices are generally higher because they already include packaging, distribution, and the store margin. Market prices also move with the season, and usually rise during a long rainy season when supply from the highlands is disrupted.

How much is hydroponic lettuce per bunch?

One bunch of hydroponic lettuce usually weighs 200 to 250 grams, so it works out to Rp 5,000 to Rp 10,000 per bunch at our price range. Keep in mind that bunch size has no standard and differs from seller to seller.

If you are comparing prices between places, always ask the weight per bunch first. A bunch that looks cheap is often just smaller.

Why do hydroponic vegetables cost more than ordinary vegetables?

Conventional lettuce in traditional markets is usually Rp 10,000 to Rp 20,000 per kilogram, roughly half the hydroponic price. The gap comes from real costs: the greenhouse, the pumps and electricity that run every day, nutrients that are dosed and measured, and harvest done close to delivery time.

In return, the leaves are clean without repeated washing, there is no soil pesticide residue, shelf life in the fridge is longer, and the net weight is higher because no soil is weighed along with it. For a food business, shelf life is what shows up most, because spoilage losses go down.

How much is hydroponic Hami melon per kg?

Our Hami melon sits between Rp 45,000 and Rp 65,000 per kilogram, at 1.5 to 2.5 kilograms per fruit. Melons are sold whole, not cut, so they stay fresh until they reach the buyer.

Melon is seasonal and follows the planting schedule in the greenhouse, so it is not available all year. Contact us to ask about the nearest harvest schedule.

Can I order in bulk for a restaurant or catering business?

Yes. Regular orders with a fixed quantity per week get a different price from retail, because we can plan the planting and harvest schedule earlier for you.

Send us your estimated weekly needs, the vegetables you want, and the delivery day you prefer through the contact page. We will reply with a quote and a delivery schedule we can meet.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We serve Cirebon and the surrounding area directly, covering Cirebon City, Cirebon Regency, Kuningan, Majalengka, and Indramayu. For leafy vegetables the delivery range is kept limited so they stay fresh on arrival.

Outside that area, please still contact us. For large orders or hardier products such as melon, delivery out of town can still be arranged.
